St. Albert Minor Hockey U18 program has two streams: Non-Body Contact and Body Contact.

Each program has three tiers. After enrollment numbers have been confirmed, the number of teams and evaluation process are established. Players are placed on teams with players of similar skill and ability.

The Association typically has between 8 to 12 teams each season and is a member of the Edmonton Federation Hockey League (EFHL).

Teams travel throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area to play approximately 20 games a season.

In addition, teams have regular weekly practices. Most teams participate in one to two tournaments throughout the season.

There are additional costs associated with U18 Community hockey.
