STA IG 2026-19

At St. Albert Minor Hockey, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and staff. After considerable evaluation and discussion, we have made the decision to transition our Association management platform from TeamSnap to TeamLinkt beginning with the 2026-27 season.

This decision was not made lightly. TeamSnap has been an important tool for our Association for many years. However, as our organization has grown to serve more than 2,000 players and hundreds of coaches and volunteers, it became clear that we needed a platform that could better support our evolving needs.

Made in Canada

One of the factors that stood out during our evaluation process was that TeamLinkt is a Canadian company built specifically for community sport organizations. Their understanding of the challenges faced by minor hockey associations in Alberta was unique.

Throughout our evaluation and onboarding process, their team has been exceptionally responsive, collaborative, and committed to supporting our Association's success.

This level of support gives us confidence that we have chosen a partner that will continue to work alongside us as our needs evolve.

Connected Experience

We also valued TeamLinkt's ability to bring multiple functions together into a single platform. Registration, team communication, scheduling, rostering, and administration can all be managed in one place, creating a more seamless experience for our members.

Rather than relying on multiple systems and workarounds, TeamLinkt provides a centralized solution that helps reduce duplication and improves efficiency for families, coaches, and administrators.

Connect With Us

Communication is one of the most important services we provide to our members. TeamLinkt offers enhanced communication tools that allow teams, divisions, and the Association to connect more effectively with players and families.

Our goal is to ensure that important information is easier to find, easier to receive, and easier to manage throughout the season.

Creating Value

As a not-for-profit organization, we take seriously our responsibility to ensure registration fees are invested where they have the greatest impact on the player experience.

The move to TeamLinkt represents a cost savings for the Association when compared to our previous platform.

What is Next

Over the coming months, our staff team will be working closely with TeamLinkt to ensure a smooth transition.

We understand that any change comes with questions, and we are committed to providing the support needed to make this transition as seamless as possible.

Thank you for your patience and support as we take this next step forward together.
