St. Albert Minor Hockey U11 players are placed on teams with players of similar skill and ability. There are two streams within U11;  U11 Community and U11 AA (Competitive).

The Association typically has between 16-20 teams each season and is a member of the Edmonton Federation Hockey League (EFHL). Teams travel throughout the Edmonton area to play approximately 18 games a season.

In addition to this, teams have regular weekly practices. Most teams participate in one to two tournaments throughout the season. There are additional costs associated with U11 Community hockey.
